My Z is in dire need of repainting. There are several dents and dings in the body, and a couple really nasty scratches which the previous owner tried to touch up with disaterous results. The paint is also dull, I have been over the entire car with rubbing compound and a new coat of wax. It looks better, but still not that great. So, this has brought up a few questions. I did a search, and read that repainting will lower the resell value of the car. Is this true if it is repainted the original color with OEM paint(if availible)? How about if it was repainted with an OEM paint from the same year model, but not the actual color the car was originally? Lastly, are there any other options I might have?(besides selling and getting one with a better paint job)
