If you're hoping to use the drivetrain, then the compression and leakdown tests are a good place to start. A boost-leak test could be a good indicator of any front-end damage to the intercooler piping, etc (yes, read that it was rear-ended, but hey who knows what happened to it after it was towed). Check the plugs as well. If the seller has the service records, that's a bonus. Good luck man.
