Message The MASSIVE SMIC's use a core significantly larger than any of those and the MASSIVE cores flow 427CFM in raw form - that is, without endtanks or pipes.

In the flowbench test, the MASSIVEs are flowing 326CFM, which makes perfect sense given that the endtanks and pipes are introducing their own amount of restriction. THe Greddy intercooler is notably smaller than the MASSIVE, yet, the greddy, with endtanks and pipes flows pretty close to the bare core of the MASSIVE by itself.

My question is, what pressure were they flowing those intercoolers at, and was it an exhaust flowtest or an intake flow test of the core.

Their test showing 392CFM for the HKS unit is also much higher than we found yesterday (211.4CFM in our test). Ben Phu was present at the test yesterday, along with the owner of Moore Perforance

Our tests were performed with an exhaust flow producing 1psi of pressure drop across the core (28").

Even though the machines aren't the same, the numbers should be unless there was something different about how they tested them. Testing the intercoolers any differently than how we have done them would be an incorrect test procedure.

Thanks for the link though.
