With the exception that bullshitting isn't exactly lying (lying implies he knows the correct answer and is misleading you purposely), you are absolutely right. And in my opinion, this is the problem with the world today - too many people give answers to questions when they really don't know the answer. I have no pet peeve larger than people answering questions to which they themselves don't know the answer.
