Message synthetic oils can be made simply on the basis of cost. If you're doing one or two oil changes a year, how much does running full synthetic REALLY increase the operating cost of your vehicle? $20 or thereabouts probably. The person who can't afford an additional $20 a year, IMO shouldn't own a Z32 and should probably ride a bike instead.

The additional performance and longevity syn oil provides is hard to quantify. But synthetic is probably worth it because its increased cost is negigible in that of overall car ownership. Because the savings between full syn and dyno is so small, blends can be treated as just another form of dyno oil in making an oil choice..

Car speed road calling / bird freed leaf falling / we can bide time.
