Message from what Ive seen of the ROD, either has gearing similar to the 350Z tranny( which is not worth the money)...just more shifting and no advantage in top end cruising, OR a much bigger gap between 5th and 6th gear which will definitely put the VG out of its powerband faster than the T-56.

The T-56 has the gearing thats very similar to the Z32 tranny (slighty lower 5th) plus another gear.I love the gearing of the Z32 and the 4.08 R200, but it feels as if the car never just cruises.5th gear pulls so hard that it doesnt feel like an overdrive. Being spaced better than anything offered in the ROD, it will offer much better drivability. the ROD would put 4 and 5 gears too close and 6th too far away. the T-56 has them spaced perfectly.

The top 3 gears of the ROD go as follows
1:24(or 1:19), 1:1, and anything from .80 to .52 It goes from being worse than the Z32 to having 5 and 6 gear spread too far apart

the T-56 goes 1:1, .80, and .62 They are spaced perfectly. Whats the advantage? It will do a much better job of always keeping the VG in its powerband.
