Message Apparently, when I had previously dropped my subframe to pull my pan on a previous motor, I must have missed something/messed something up which caused the steering to become tighter and caused several creaks/pops/knocks...etc...when turning sharply.

Also, my power steering pump is slowly dying on me, and my PS rack is leaking as well, which led me to believe that was the cause of the steering issues. I also have a strut which is not tightened 100% at the top which I thought was causing the suspension problems.

When Ben had my car he dropped the subframe and when reinstalled, it resolved all the issues.
