| something I heard tonight really pushed me over the edge. I might be a wise ass, start little internet fights with people, but I am an honest person. I have sold tons of my parts to alot of people and always try to make sure the person buying my parts is very satisfied. Since I was 18 rzt performance worked on my car. The first turbo upgrade I did when I was 18 was the jwt 530bb and some injectors. He said it would be done in a week, which it was. I was driving home and I would go through almost a tank of gas every 40 minutes. I called him and asked him what was up??? He said ill come pick up the car but im going to have to charge you 150 bucks!!! I declined and had to AAA come picked up the car. A week later he calls me and tells me I must have dropped a bolt into my head or something and that was causing the problem( I didnt know anything about cars so I believed him) I get my car back it ran well until I mis-shifted and blew the motor. Fast foward to almost 9 months later I get home from college to work so I start to have cash to build the motor and do a big build. He first quoted me 3k to slap the heads on the motor and install it. I dropped my car off(have pics of the car and member witnesses) in mint condition, it was just resprayed. I get the car back 4 months later and there is a huge dent in the driver fender. I bought it up and him and his dad were like no way we did not do that it came to us like that. I just wanted my car so I was like whatever the body shop still owed me some. Car ran great till my lower rad hose cracked and I tried to limp the car 2 miles to my house which warped the heads. So by this point I knew what I was doing with cars so I pulled the motor my self. After going over everything and showing ash some pics of my port work ash noticed I had NA heads!!! I gave rich a set of twin turbo heads!!!. I decided at this point to rebuild the entire car my self. I bought riches stage II kit from him, then he told me he had bigger turbos so I bought those. Long story short they didnt fit. He told me to bring the car so his mani guy could redue the manis. Fast Foward to 2 months later when he said a week he finally said he doesnt know whats going on with his mani guy. I asked since I wanted to go to the fall ECZA meet and it was the next day if I could come use his shop. The deal was throw a couple hundred his way I could use it all night. I agreed and heygotboost and my self on the friday before last falls ecza went to put my car together. We were there till 1am putting my car together but couldnt get it to run right so we left the next day. Later on in the week rich calls me and says my CAS was bad its running good. I was happy and told him I will be there tommrow to pick it up. 40 minutes later I get another call from him saying the idler pully stud snapped. At that point I knew the motor was done. I am in no way pointing fingers at that, I dont know if it was me or him due to the fact i left that bolt loose and asked him to tighten it or I improperly installed the timing belt. At the same time this was going on I was getting ready to go away to CU boulder in CO. I asked rich how long it would take to throw a stock motor in there and return the car to stock. He said a couple weeks, and I was cool with that letting him know in a month the car had to be done since I was going to go away to CO. It took rich almost 5 months to install my motor. We also traded parts for labor and he owed me 3k on a set of turbos I couldnt use. Finally when I got the car back the paint was chipped in some places, the fascia looked like some one threw it around everywhere, I was missing lug nuts, my hood flew off on the highway, the car didnt run right, and my bill was 3-4k more then what it shoudl have. We traded parts for labor and some used tt parts since I needed stock parts to return the car to stock. The stock parts (brakes, suspension) and all of it was shot, like not usuable at all. I kept very good records of all the things we traded and how much for and what they were for. Aprently none of them matched his. There were also some parts ie. control arms and a full UR pull kit that just went missing. Also my polished plenum he said was broken?? and wouldnt hold boost??? member magnum said he saw the car run and drive fine with the plnenum on there. When I went to go pick up my car he also wouldnt open up his hood and show me which plenum he was running. So tonight member magnum(also had all of his work done by rzt) and I were having a convo and he told me some info I was pissed off about. Here is the convo I had with member magnum. I used to praise rich for the work he did and getting my car running, but I never posted about all the bullshit he pulled and thought he could get away with.
