| Wtf was Nissan thinking? These things sure are oddly shaped. I have to say, that installing down pipes with the engine AND transmission still in the car was a huge pain in the ass.. but it was worth it :). But if you're going to attempt it, you better have some flexible arms and a lot of patience. With DP & TP combo install, the car sounds so much meaner and the turbos spool noticeably faster. Now, take a look at the nasty stockers: Those 90 degree bends and constant changes in pipe diameter are horrendous:

Passenger side, two 90 degree bends in a row:
 Drivers side, the bends are not as bad and passenger side, but the shape of the pipe tweaks directly aft of the turbo, good for bolt clearance, bad for flow:
 Compared to a set of aftermarket DPs as we've all seen:

 Stock size replacement rotors since I have no idea when/if they were ever replaced on my Z, and they look in dire need. Just need to order some new pads from Kuah and I'm set to go:
