Message	it appears there's an issue with the receiving end of the cable because sending data out works (try turning on the auxiliary fan with the free conzult software). with the homemade DDLs, you can change one of the resistors to make it work with different years. rough technical explanation: there isn't enough of a swing on the incoming data bits. therefore you change a pull-up (or was it pull-down?) resistor. here's an old discussion of it on the Nissan ECU Tuning forum http://ecu2.forumwise.com/ecu2-thread1278.html *********************************
