| But the Camaro is hardly based off the GTR. Both of them are following the trend of boxier panels and sharper edges that just about everything in mass production has taken over the last decade. To attempt to say that GM is ripping off Nissan with the look is really a stretch. I still think it looks more like a 350Z, mostly due to the sharper edge headlights and a flat nose like the Z, and a Camaro but I can see some G35 in it, mostly the general shape of the body. If I looked at a G35 more I might see it your way. However I never liked the G35 anyway, so I usually try to avoid looking at it. Either way it looks decidely awkward. The odd angle in the C pillar makes it look like it was designed from the inside out. "Okay we need this much head room...so...cut the roof off here." Or the line down the top of each side of the roof that follows down the C pillar after going over top of the doors that gives the roof center panel an unusual look. The front fenders that look like they were an afterthought on the body that narrows from back to front. That and the car just doesn't pull off the large squared up rear end, it just looks like it has a big ass. There is some well done parts on it but the whole package leaves a lot to be desired.
