| My present for my engines instructor at school.
Much better eh?
Scored these babys for a cheap 50 bucks from a former Z owner. Going to give one to the trannys class at school to be built for free (except parts).
Also these for a great price.
Replacing the timing belt wasn't as big of a headache as I thought it was going to be. I just took my time and it went pretty well. The write up on the subject was a great resource. The manual wants you to leave the auto tensioner loose and try and throw the belt over it. Well the DamonZ method works much better. Leave the auto tensioner bolts off except the bolt/stud loose and use a pry bar to get it back in place. Genius. Oh also when I order a synchro kit is it updated to the 97spec? I was going to ask the dealership but I figured they would have no idea. I'd get an answer like "There were no 300zx's produced after 96".
92' 2+2 NA 5sp DD (also 71' Camaro project)
71' debut soon? Or for sale?
