| careful about the potential safety issue of using an airbag designed from another vehicle. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade - but I wanted to point out that there could be a potential incompatibility with our car in the event of an accident. The bag design is for the Z33 (as per Bernie's post above) - the Z33 uses load-limiting retractor seat belts with pretensioners while the Z32 does not. This means that the dynamics of the bag deployment could be different enough to cause more harm than good. The concern I see is that as a result of the different application of this wheel/airbag, the occupant may be in the wrong position (i.e. too close to the steering wheel) as the bag is being deployed. Example: The pretensioning belt system for the Z33 fires of a pyrotechnic charge that takes out the slack of the belt at the onset of a crash. This effectively holds the driver in the seat vs. sliding forward until the belt slack is taken up. In return, the bag has more room to deploy and most likely will fire more aggressively to get inflated to fill up that extra space as quickly as possible. If this were to happen in the Z32, there could be the potential for increased head/facial injury from contact with the bag while it's in the inflation stages. I just wanted to offer this word of caution - that's all. Other than that, the wheel looks sexy although very reminiscent of the Momo wheel that was on my WRX. Dave
