Message : where is the injector connector? how do I get it off so I can see if it is corroded?

: : which cylinder is not firing. (engine speed should drop for each good one, and no change for the bad one). then, pull the injector connector and check for corrosion (if there, clean it off with contact cleaner). also, check the FAQ on hesitation... lots of other suggestions there.

: : : For years I have dreamed of owning a 90+ Z and finally, I do. I bought it last week from a woman who absolutely babied the car. It is a 90 NA 2 seater. As soon as I picked it up, I noticed a shaky idle and hesitation during acceleration. Being a complete novice, I ran some fuel system cleaner through, bought new air filters, and ran fuel injector cleaner through as well. No difference. My smart car friends said that it was definitely missing and it would probably just be a spark plug replacement. So, I took the car to the dealer on Friday and had them look at it. They thought the same thing at first. They checked the spark plugs, coils, ??? Finally, the mechanic came in and told me that it had to be a bad injector. $700 repair. So, all weekend I've been reading about other such stories. I'd like to hear from anyone who can give me advice on any alternatives I might have. I'm a complete idiot so try to make it simple. I don't have $700 to be spending after I've just dropped the money for the car. Any advice would be much appreciated.
