Message : I am planning to set up a track car for myself for performance driving schools. I am currently torn between the TT and setting up an older 911. I currently have a 90 TT with stage III.

: If I set up my TT:
: - how much more upgrades would I need?
: - brakes - Skyline vs. Brembo vs. AP - what would I need?
: - I think the TT weighs about 3300 lbs - how light can I make this car if I gutted it, and added carbon fiber or race panels? What is the best source for these parts?
: - Suspension - I will be updating to Tokico 5-ways, Eibach springs; and polyurethane bushings - any other considerations?
: - Power - I am upgrading to HKS intercoolers. What else should I consider?
: - Drive line - any tranny, driveshaft or rear diff upgrades suggested?
: - Wheels and tires - What is the largest size rears I can use without body modification?

: Any considerations if I wanted to set up a 911?

:

Th 911 will be MUCH cheaper to set up for road racing, MUCH cheaper to maintain, more reliable and faster. The car is made for it...the TT isnt, simple as that.
