| cross-sectional area. So if they say 500RWHP is for a (single) exhaust pipe and should be 3-3.5" in diameter, then WE (Z32TT) would need 500RWHP per bank, or twice that amount to 1000RWHP. It is still very vague, but I've seen other articles mention 300RWHP per "motor", for 3" exhaust systems, or ~600RWHP. This is just the math - Greg has proven it on the track. I still think we (a few local cars) hit the nail on the head. Start off with a 3" downpipe to keep the exhaust gases moving. After the testpipe, cone down at calculated diameter over distance to 2.5" to increase the scavenge affect as the exhaust gases have cooled down from mass transfer to the stainless steel. To be fair, I have never had a 3" full-exhaust on my car, but I'm willing for have flaws in the logic pointed out. SS
