So I went for a leisurely drive in middle of New Hampshire along the scenic Kancamangus Higway (RT112) this past Saturday. The weather held out for us, remaining only slightly overcast. I met up with Erich (Keaner) in Boston in the afternoon, got stuck in some lovely city traffic, then headed up 93. Wow, I forgot how far up north this damn highway is! The drive up was fun, there was one guy in a bone stock C5 who pulled up next to Erich, wanting to go. He shook him off and sent him after me. LOL, poor guy probably thought I just had an exhaust. I like crushing egos. =D 
Then we actually get on to the Kanc, and it was really nice up there, definitely peak foliage season. Which has its down sides. Biggest being the damn tourists. Heavier traffic means less real driving and more driving at 20mph to give your self some room. 
This is where I let my turbos cool off… a mile before I saw a sign that said “Pavement Ends”…oh you have GOT to be kidding me…nope, no joke. 
This was at the end of the day, we stopped at a lake to take a couple of shots. I sirusly need a new camera. 
We also saw a Porsche club up there, about 25 cars deep, very cool. Very fun drive, but I think I’ll check out RT 19 in VT as a couple of my motorcycle buddies suggested. Supposedly more turns and better pavement. But any 300 mile drive in a Z is gonna be a great time =D If you want hi-res images, right click and go to properties.
