| the price should be fair for both parties. Selling too low inherently means that the seller's trying to get rid of the car whereas buying a car at "top dollar" would leave me feeling screwed. A good price would be a balance that leaves both parties satisfied. The occasionnal bargain where you pay a fraction of the item's real value comes across VERY rearely, and the unusual situation where you're willing to dump your kids' college fund into something that simply takes your breath away shouldn't happen too often either, for your own sake. :-)
