Message Plugged up the ports in the driver's side exhaust valve cover, used 5/16" hose barbs in place of the PCVs for vacuum sources, and removed the metal pipes in the intake valve covers. They are just open to the air.

I have been doing a little maintenance this evening and finally getting around to installing the power steering components. In the process, I have removed several of the intake pipes and have noted ZERO oil in them. Throttlebodies look just as clean as they did when I built the motor.

There is a very very small amount of oil that is visible at the open ports on the intake valve covers but it is so minimal that I dont have any concerns about it. I could have just left them in there and ran some 5/8" hoses off them down towards the bottom of the engine bay. I just got tired of the metal pipes coming loose and jamming up in the throttle linkage.

Just food for thought..
