Message	belt tension causing uneven wear and bearing heating which would cause seals to crack warpped pump shaft low water flow causing it to overheat Just like swimming pool water pumps, you can't realy give it an exact life expectency. I've even seen brand new water pumps leak. I think the 60K replacement is one of those "since you're already here, just get it done" but a good advice nonetheless.
