| Thanks =) It was only supposed to be down a few weeks for some maintenance but life got in the way. After about a month, I got the urge for boost again but I was in a new (and better) job with a little more breathing room. So I made it a goal to do a hell of a lot more work to the Z in honor of the 180k service that was coming up. I figured I'd fix all the little annoyances and do a ton of preventative maintenance. Stuff like switching back to the stock radiator fan (tired of the hassle) to replacing the original fuel pump, MAF, IAC and a ton of hoses just because I felt it was "time". I figured I'd spend a little now and get a perfectly running Z for the next year or two rather than rush a big turbo build while trying to find a house. I'm glad I did because what I thought was a dying passenger side turbo was really just a tiny boost leak that everyone thought was the dreaded turbo whine. Pressure tests be damned, I did two of them and was starting to believe the hype. That's twice I dodged bullets on that turbo =) Truth be told, I actually like the idea of taking it slow. The car is no slouch as it is and I just love driving it as is. I just wish it wasn't raining in September or I'd be out driving it now. Enjoy yours sir.
