| I say do it.. and you'll save some cash.. z1 does not charge THAT much for their kit though.. plus theirs come with the SS lines, brackets etc. If I could do it all over again.. I would have saved up and got some nice manifolds, and went with the GT28RS w/ .64 a/r exhaust turbine housing. The GT28R (600r) are a very responsive turbo. I could definitely deal with some more lag for more power. I have a 4.5" thick FMIC and my GT28R still spool up fast/er than a STOCK TT. Although I do have a totally different dual MAF/intake setup and a full 3" exhaust setup. I have a second engine on the side that I am building and am going to go with the GT2871 turbos for that. The whole fabbing thing is not that hard.. it just takes time and some fabbing (which is fun to me anyways). Either way.. You wont be disapointed. I drove TheDevilsZ's car and he has the 28RS .64a/r turbine housing and GD inconel manifolds. IMO, his car has the "perfect" amount of lag for a street car. very responsive and very powerful, even on pump gas. I still could live with just a little more lag, which is why I am going with a larger turbo than the GT28RS. Good luck with whatever you do! Shawn300zTT
 NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
