| theoretical question... I have read a lot of places that the best way to break in an engine is to run it hard to get the rings to seal well against the cylinder wall. Apparently the first few miles on a new engine are the most crucial for break-in. normally when people get a new or rebuilt engine, they will replace the clutch too. The clutch DOES require a soft break in period where you drive the car slow, no boosting, no high revs and such. so what do you do in that situation?
