Message What you are thinking of is the ATTESA ETS(sic) of the Skyline which is rear drive until traction is lost, and then it sends power to the front.

The VR4 is all time AWD. The power transfer is 45% front and 55% rear due to the design of the differentials I believe. The only way to get a VR4 to be a FWD would be to disconnect the rear driveshaft.
