Message At 151K, your suspension is S-H-O-T. Every bushing, spring, shock is pretty much toast.

The very first thing you need to do is replace/upgrade the suspension, then worry about other stuff. I'd wager that replacing/upgrading the suspesnion will have you going faster through the twisties than all the power adding mods you want to do combined.

Springs and shocks should be your #1 priority.

Then look at replacing your front upper control arms (last only 60K from expereince) with some aftermarket adjustable ones.

Adjustable tension rods are cheap.

Add a set of anti-sway bars and you'll swear you're driving a different car.

After that you can worry about the other suspension bushings in the front lower control arms, and all the rear suspension arms.

You probably want to replace your steering rack bushings with urethane ones as well.

If your power steering resevior has any leaks around it, prepare to buy and install a new alternator. The high pressure power steering hoses are prone to failing, and when they do, they leak onto the alternator and kill it.

4th gear synchros like to start going out. redline synthetic fluid is a big help here.

The differential carrier bushings like to wear and cause a driveline clunk, as do failing center support bearings for the driveshaft.

When you replace the clutch, install a lightweight flywheel, it is one of the best mods for an NA, or any car for that matter.

The Blose stereo sucks. The amps in the speakers fail. You pretty much have to replace the whole system from the headunit to the speakers at the same time (with aftermarket stuff).

More stuff......

These are the kind of things that you should look at before spending money on power-adders, IMHO.

Mike
