One of those will make it easier to get on the head of the bolt since it's shorter than a regular universal with a 14mm attached to it. If you still have trouble getting it on the bolts you can wrap a little electrical tape around the swivel part to keep it from flopping around. I never put that top d/s bolt back in since it's such a pain to get to. With all the drag racing and track days I have never had a problem, just be sure to get all the other bolts snugged up tight and the two pins at 9:oo & 3:00 that hold the spaceer plate are in good shape. And 3/8 drive is better, 1/2" is overkill and will be much harder to fit between the tranny and the body.
