I was hoping to install my GT2530s this weekend, but every single one of my "friends" decided to blow me off in their various ways. Since I would need help getting the engine hoist and stand here, as well as dropping the trans and the subframe (replacing bushings), I couldn't do it this weekend, so I'm going to have to see if they're going to help me next weekend or not. If they are, then I'll be busy all of next weekend getting everything done; if they're not, then I'll be able to meet up with you somewhere. But as for ethanol, the gas city by my house on Harlem (197th or so) doesn't use ethanol, but the trade-off is that it's only 92 octane as compared to 93 octane at places like Shell. I've looked everywhere on the pumps to see if maybe I didn't notice an ethanol content sticker somewhere, but there is no sticker, so I must conclude there's no ethanol. Also, the Mobil on 111th and Pulaski doesn't use ethanol either, and that's 93 octane. Either way, I'll be rewiring my injectors while the engine's out, so I can go back to Shell again, but for now I'm married to Mobil and Gas City.
Putting eBay "performance" parts on your Nissan 300ZX is like putting Pep Boys wheels on your Cadillac Escalade... even people on welfare know better. |
