Message	and this is a question about drives, correct? I think 1/2 is recommended over 3/8 simply because of drive handle length. Barring extra long handle drives, a 1/2 drive handle will be longer and generate much more torque than a standard 3/8 drive ever will. BTW, regardless of what FAQ, etc. may recommend, YugoBernie told me he uses a 20 inch extension (w/ universal joint) on trannies and laughed at my belief that 36" is required. Aren't 36 inch extensions pretty pricey? You might want to drop YB an email before buying your tools. Chance favors the informed
