Message ($500) would be more appropriate for a shop charge to remove plenum (although if they've done it before probably would be closer to 3 or 4. Maybe a bit longer if you've got some hose clamps facing the wrong way. Since you are replacing the entire fuel rail then the shop won't have to spend anytime with PB Blaster trying to get the injectors out. This can sometimes take as long as the plenum pull itself!

If you did it yourself would be 8 to 10 hours your first time.

Make sure you or them replace your PCV hoses/valves (rear hose in particular) if you haven't recently and also the coolant hoses if you are not going to do the bypass. Not a bad idea to replace the air hoses in the rear near AAC as well while you've got the plenum off.
