That is just disappointing. I had checked the rotation arrow on the tires at purchase time, but not the wheel themselves. Looking closely at it now, I see the direction of the spokes does look off. And the dead give away... the R and L markings on the wheels which clearly show these as having been improperly mounted. I guess that happened when the previous owner bought new tires from Costco.
