Message Answer to questions from last night’s post:

Fuel damper was moved for the picture, for now it sits down by the brake booster.

Red dot: from fuel filter to fuel damper
Blue dot: from fuel damper to passenger side fuel rail
Yellow dot: vacuum line from balance tube

Green dot: from driver side fuel rail to fuel pressure regulator
Blue dot: from regulator to return hardline
Orange dot: vacuum line to fuel pressure regulator
This vacuum line use to connect to the fuel hardlines that ran across the plenum.

I can’t say I’m 100% sure everything is connected to the right place. The car runs but if I did something wrong please let me know!

I had to remove the small hardline in the circle. There is a brace connecting two hardlines, I used a dremel w/a carbide bit to cut the brace between them, removed the hardline, and replaced it with flexible fuel/water line.

Answer to Max865(ATL)’s questions:
1.were they detailed instructions from 300degree?

The instructions manual was 7 pages, first three pages included 43 steps on how to remove all parts necessary to access, remove, and reinstall the fuel rails. There was also a diagram of how to assemble the rails. The next 4 pages were Nick’s pluming diagrams.

2.This looks like a serial connection of injectors, did nixit suggest it over a parallel setup, curious.

Nixit highly recommended parallel. I wanted to run parallel but was a little confused by the AN fittings and pluming at first so I ran serial to keep it simple. I can always change it later.

3. how did the non-fuel rail end of new fuel lines connect to the OEM end of the fuel supply system? Total noob here, haven't looked in the FSM at all for this, but do forgive my laziness, thanks

No problem. Hopefully the pictures explained the pluming.

4, how diffcult was it, hope you won't mind me emailing and bugging you on how to do this since I'm looking forward to order and go the same route. Any turbo upgrades in the future for you?

I was totally clueless going into this. I upgraded the stock injectors several years back but repluming the rails was intimidating to me. I was unsure what fittings I needed and what kind of hose went with the different fittings. I just ordered what I thought Damon used on the 300degree fuel rail page and slowly started putting pieces together.

I did install and remove the rails a few times to get the fittings to the correct angles and to move hardlines out of the way. Once it was done I realized it was a lot easier then I thought it was going to be.

Hopefully this helps and feel free to e-mail if you have any questions.
