disconnect the PTU. put the socket and a breaker bar long enough to reach the DS inner fender area. Put a roll of paper towels over the end of the breaker. Bump the key, the engine turning will have the bar (protected by towels) hit the frame and pop the nut loose. Finish by hand.
It does work. I have done it on Hondas and we did it on Dutchs car. BUT I am claiming the TTNET disclaimer. You HAVE to do it right to prevent damage. But it is easier than pulling the starter and all the flywheel blocking steps.
