wastegates :) Not stock internal ones. If the springs in the external wastegates are only meant to hold XX psi and you want to run XX + 4 psi with your BC, the springs will still vent off boost at XX psi...hence the need for "stiffer" springs to hold more boost. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
