Message **** It's 2 am - excuse any typos. I spent the time trying to make the file size of the pics better ( thanks Wui and Guapo ) ...hopefully it was time well spent ****

Ash and I took the car to the dyno at Xotic Motorsports on Saturday during my tech day and got some prelimenary numbers.

The overall numbers were about 30 rwhp lower and we didn't know exactly what to attribute it to. The weather was significantly warmer than Nov 2005 and humidity was worse also. We also noticed that the altitude adjustment was different on the dyno ( we later determined through sucessive runs and changing the value that it played little significance )

So since I recently had some motor work done by SGP when I had them replace the bearings in the bottom end, we decided to check the heads and cams "for kicks" while we were changing the plenum and throttle bodies.

Motor without plenum

Border fuel rails

Stock plenum

Ghetto PCV plug

New plenum with 60mm Throttle bodies installed

Checking for JWT 500 cams

Checking for head work

New plenum installed - YEAH ! Only takes 5 mins to install / remove

Lotus Elise ( spelling ) - that was at the dyno when I showed up.

My car on the dyno

***** U make the call on these dyno charts - I already have my opinion, but I want to remain neutral so that you form your own thoughts first *****

Tomorrow or in the very near future I will have a few pulls done with my new 3inch cat back exhaust. I am expecting some rhwp gains. How much? I don't know - but I finally will have a full 3 inch system.
