screenings are the last last last test u need to take before i get my license to work on planes. U get 2 shots to take it. I have 3 screenings to take. U need a 90 or better to pass it. I took 2 already. The first one i wasnt prepared cause the teacher gave us questions 0-500 last week and i assumed he was going to give us questions 500-1000 this week but he didnt. The actuall screening was this week so i had to take it. I got an 86 having only studied questions 500-1000. So i failed by 4 questions. Im taking it again for the second and last time on wed. The other test i took i got a 96 so im done with that. I need to take 2 more now. The one that i failed and another one that im gonna take for my first try. After all 3 screenings r done and assuming i pass them all i have to apply to take the finall screening which is the last written test. But for that test i need to get a 70 so if i get 90+ on all 3 tests then i shouldnt have a problem with that. Then i need to take an oral which is a certified teacher stands next to me while i work on the engine as well as asks me questions. this can last for 4 hours a day at the maximum of 3 days. If i pass all these i get my A&P license (airframe and powerplant). Lots of work for such a little amount of time huh? Well........... Wish me luck guys.
