Message And sometimes you need to hold those gears. Additionally, you have control of gear selection at all times. You can see down the road/course, but your TCU can only see what you are doing right now. It won't know if you are in a turn. That paddle shifter setup may be a *reasonable* substitute for a manual considering the above points only.

While getting tires mounted for Zcon, I had this doozy of a conversation with the mechanic...

Tireguy: [looking at emblem] Is this a Twin Turbo?
Me: Well, yea.
Tireguy: Awesome! How much boost do you run?
Me: 14-15 ish.
Tireguy: Cool. On both?
