Message Of what could be done at a given boost pressure with a medium sized turbo setup. If you think that low 20's psi can't be done on pump + water/meth, then you are crazy.

The timing on that tune with VP110 is way more aggressive than what you'll be able to acheive on pump gas and water injection. At that power level, that's easily 50 rwhp. You're being entirely too optimistic.

My point was that even with a relatively low aiming turbo and headwork, they achieved 611 rwhp at that boost.

With timing appropriate for VP110, yes. A level of timing you won't safely use with pump gas and water injection.

With larger turbo (say, 2871) + lots of headwork mid 600's would be attainable on pump gas + meth/water.

Feel free to prove this with dyno charts. Otherwise this is conjecture.

Many people run mid 500's all day on pump gas, and some of those are running stock heads. Very very few of those are running anything bigger than 28rs size turbos either.

Mid 500 isn't the same as 700, and regardless of what magical scenario you manage to fabricate, it's never going to be streetable - one of requirements stated in the first post.

To completely balk at the idea just because people are conservative in the community just seems like a complete oversight of what may very well be possible.

Conservative? Plenty of people have blown their engines going for high hp numbers on risky tunes. Who are you talking about exactly?

Also, why the hell should I 'drop it',

Because you are making shit up.

it's not like you are bringing up any hard evidence defending your point either.

Check those dyno charts, tell me how many are making 700 rwhp on pump fuel.

I don't have much a tendancy to believe any of the bs about turbo builds coming from people that are still running stockers just because they think they know whats up because other people told them so.

Is your build making 700 rwhp on pump fuel? How are you anymore qualified to speak on this than anyone else? That's a poor attempt to marginalize anyone who disagrees with your magical scenarios with points unrelated to the discussion. Try again.
