Because I can't take care of it right now, because I don't have the cash flow from being in college to treat that car the way it needs to be treated. As well as the price of gas, I think I'll stick to 32mpg in my accord or 28 in the subaru for now. I wasn't haranguing you, merely commenting. If your wife will be unhappy with it, talk to her. Usually you can make someone else look through your eyes. If you don't have the money to pour into your 300zx for *more power* (which sounds to me like you just want to show off) then wait until you can afford it. It's not an insult, it's common sense.
