Hey guys,
I was working on my car and did something very cheap, but something that worked really well. So, I just wanna share with you guys.
As you all know, our moldings running both sides of the windshield and top tend to wear off and peel off. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars for non-functional parts, I used 1 inch wide black electrical tape and it worked really well.
Just make sure a few things:
1. If metal piece is exposed already, you will need to peel off everything for smooth surface.
2. Use a shart knife to trim.
3. Watch out for air bubbles
4. Don't stretch the tape too much, since it will shrink later.I hope this help some of you cheapos out there =)
