| assumption whenever anyone posts about unknown mods/parts found on ebay without having 1sthand experience yourself, referencing another member who has had 1sthand negative experience, or informing the poster any tangible evidence as to why said cheapo parts are inferior. Having never bought anything aside from my FSM from ebay I cannot say one way or the other and do not consider myself an ebay proponent in the faintest sense of the term, but I feel completely comfortable in dismissing "too good to be true" deals as exactly that. When it comes to alignments, I got screwed once and through my newfound awareness from a sunday afternoon conversation with the guy who did both of my Z's, came to find that relatively few shops do know what they are doing. You speak as if everyone is just like you and can watch/talk to a tech and know right off the bat if they are competent to do the job or are in fact doing the job properly, in this thread we are discussing camber settings on non-oem suspension arrangements. The fact is, of the thousand of people who have and do frequent ttnet, a very small percentage are as qualified as you in this regard. More often than not the tech is more than capable to convince someone within 2 minutes that everything will be fine, whether they know before or find out during the job that they either cant or dont want to do the job right. Yet you offered no advice, "hey make sure they do this, make sure they do that...LJ is not right in that he says this, in fact it actually works like....." no instead what you did was come out with a rude addendum and carried on as if the guy had nothing to be concerned about at all. Your motivations for doing so are your own. If you want to be an unprovoked prick like a few others on this site, you are certainly within your right to do so. Dont get all frizzy at me because I send right back what you dish out without blinking an eye. Like I told the guy who felt he had to lie about his friend talking shit under his screen name, I'll reply to you accordingly, I dont care if you rescue Mr K from a flame-engulfed Z31 at the age of 12 while in diabetic shock and being chased by a rabid badger.
