Message	Most common forms are VG2 and Spectre. Nearly all newer high-end radar detectors are immune to VG2, but only one (Beltronics STi Driver) is immune to Spectre II/III. It's what the police in VA/DC use to know if you have a detector, since radar detectors are illegal in VA/DC. Some newer detectors even have detector detector detectors. My Escort tells me when there's a cop in the area using VG2. It amuses me greatly, because he has no idea I have a radar detector, but I know he's looking for it. =p Putting eBay "performance" parts on your Nissan 300ZX is like putting Pep Boys wheels on your Cadillac Escalade... even people on welfare know better.
