| So here I am trying to figure this out. I was checking out the 295/30/18 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 as my rear tires are gone and I almost had a mishap on heavy rain today due to it. These tires are asymmetrical, meaning the have an outside an inside side. You can't mount the inside on the out side and vice-versa. By looking at the tread pattern it sould seem that they are also directional.... and that's where im stumped. I can't find any place that states whether they are directional or not, not even michelin. They only say it's asymmetrical. Tirerack also doesn't list a "left" "right" like the do for the KD's. This leads me to believe they are not directional, if that is the case wouldn't the tread be facing opposite sides once installed? Anybody have these tires installed? I seriously give up. Tread:
