Message shits and giggles. I don't know why I decided to randomly do this since I'm not hugley concerned about the weight, but eh it's intresting and like I said, late here. MOST of the stuff I weighed personally, but 3 or 4 of the small things I did get the weights from a post on weight reduction. All my weights I rounded to the nearest lb and there was one or two things I guessed by picking them up I remember. Hence the "+/- 10lbs" I put. Some things I was a little gernerous on and other things I was a little harsh on, evening it out. Overall though, it should be pretty close.

As far as weight taken off...

-Headlight Aimers 1
-Stock airbox and filter 1
-Cruise control 1
-Cargo Cover-3
-Spare tire with accesories 32
-Hatch Weight 2
-Replacing seats with my new ones 73
-Carbon Canister 3
-Changed Hicas to NA system 35
-RPS Flywheel (not yet though) 8
-ATI harmonic dampner difference from stock 3
-AIV System 5
-Not-top windblockers and no foglights 1
-No antenna 2
-EGR Crap 5
-My new battery difference 30
-Downpipes instead of precats 7
-Tespipes with flew joints instead of cats 8
-Seatbelts to harnesses 10
-Rear wiper 2
-Tow hooks 3
-Prvr stuff 1
-Replacing my driveshaft with my new one 14
-I did not measure any of the coilover weights, but I do know they are lighter than stock, but still did not include the weight difference. I also did not include the weight losses of going from all stock arms to all SPL arms, but I know there is a loss there, but did not count it.

Total loss of 253 lbs. +/- 10lbs.

As far as weight added

-Auto Power cage 60 (got this weight from the dealer I bought it from)
-Stereo system including box and amps and all new speakers subtracting weight of old speakers/amps/plastic housings 51
-All sheetmetal and materials added for widebody 40
-As for my wheels, they only wheigh a little more than stock since they are forged, and I'm thinking the Stoptech front and rear calipers along with the aluminum hats they come with shoudl be enough to cancel those out, so I didn't include those. If they are still a little too heavy to be canceld out by the stoptechs, I figure the coilver and spl arm difference that I listed above as not counted will take care of that.

Total added ~ 151 lbs.

So roughly ~100lbs lighter...not bad, considering I wasn't trying to get it to loose weight. Either way, that 100lbs will do nothing for me I'm sure, but still it's neat.

Like I said, not dead on, but still lighter than it was stock definately, which is very suprising. Maybe one day I'll make it to a truck weighing station. Good night!

Thanks,
Mike
