Message Actually its not true that JWT is safer than ash is safer than whoever. I have changed out SEVERAL JWT tunes for mine and interestingly enough they are rarely the same. Without actually posting the maps (cause problems) i will say this.

the older jwt tunes were "safer" as in richer with lower timing but the newer ones are more agressive and consequently less "safe". Infact i have seen some that seem to make NO sense whatsoever. ie they have 1 rpm range where they are severly lean then they get rich again. Yes this is on a single pop stage III chip so NO it does not have anything to do with dual pop or injector compensation.

Another thing i have seen is that the newer JWT chips completely remove knock sensor feedback from the timing maps. To me thats VERY unsafe. Might as well toss that knock sensor out of the engine.

But HEY WTF do i know :)
