firsthand stories about problems with engine builds and other things. I personally have not had a problem with them, but I've only used them for parts...hard to really screw that up. I would say that I'm sure it's better using them than going to a dealer. However, they don't have the best reputation. Again, this is just from experiences I've heard about. I have never had any work done there so I don't want to make it sound like I'm bashing them. They've been good to me. But you should do your research. After doing mine, I am hesitant to have them do anything to the car. Then again, I'm completely anal and don't really want anyone touching my car. :-) I would not use them for body work, but would maybe let them do a 60K for me. My body work always will go to Custom Cars Unlimited in La Grange. It's the best body shop hands down (has Pebble Beach winners to show for it). They're expensive, but they're so damn good.
