Message	literature where I took that statement from. I think it was basically comparing syn vs non-syn oils and their wts and lubricating properties at temperature. I probably misspoke by saying that one weight does not equal another, but that the protective qualities of the 30 or 40W syn oil are the same as those of the 50W non-syn oil. I'll keep looking.
