The claim it's green, and doesn't pollute but that's completely dependent upon how your local (or not so local) power plant generated the energy you're using to charge it. We still burn quite a bit of fossil fuel to provide America's energy needs, and it's not "green." That being said, it could well be more efficient to have the power plants burn up the fuels, convert them to energy, and charge up the batteries in the garage than it is to distribute gasoline widely and burn it in a combustion engine. They should at least say that if they're making "no pollution" claims though. Sure, it doesn't technically pollute, but it does so by proxy. Nice torque curve though =). I wonder how it handles with that 1000 lb battery, lol.
