Sure, if you are into the who has a bigger dick contest. IMHO, I think its about the perfect balance of power, handling and drivability. Plus it's about power throughout the band and where/when you want it. As an example, I know some guys with 240SX with RB26DETT swaps and some serious mods to these RB26DETTs pushing 600-800 RWHP. Some of them sold their cars for something much more manageable and driveable. The others started removing and selling certain mods to reduce the power and increase drivability. However, if you are going to just put big ass slicks on the back and tear up the drag strip, all the power to ya.
