Message Well Gang,

I went to tackle the clutch, pre cats, and new exhaust this weekend. Wolf came out Saturday and helped me drop the tranny and clutch out. (Thanks a ton dude) I started on the precats and they are a )(*@#)($*)(@#*$ pain in the ass to get out. I got some nice info from DamonZ and a couple guys suggesting cutting a 13mm in half. After about 4/5 hours I finally got it off, and yes the heat shield bolts are painful too.

Well while removing my exhaust the inevitable happenned, a bolt snapped. Well I went to the local Home Depot bought about 20$ in cobalt bits think it'd drill right out. Well was I WRONG, this must be the hardest damn bolt I have ever seen. Using cutting oil even I have only gotten through 3/4's of the bolt, totally spent I just called up the machine shop in the area this morning to drop it off. The precats were easy to gut..

So far I've got all this installed with tt.net's help.

APEXi BOV's
APEXi Intake
APEXi Boost Gauge
Stillen Intercoolers
Powerslot Rotors
KYB AGX Shocks
Eibach Springs
Metal Master Brake Pads
SS Brake lines

Still left to install..

Gutted precats
HKS Turbo Exhaust (single tip)
Test pipes
Greddy ProfecB Controller
Greddy Turbo Timer
RPS StageIII Clutch (such a pretty blue pressure plate)

So I just wanted to throw out a thanks to everyone, I've been dreaming about owning a new Z for about 11 years or so, ever since I road in one of my friends 1978 280z.. Been in Z love ever since..
