It's extremely easy and inexpensive to work on and buy replacement parts for. It has an iron block, forged crank, shotpeened rods, cam on lifter valvetrain (read: no rocker arms like the SR). Nearly square design (83mm bore x 83.6mm stroke). And I don't know what it is, but CA's just sound really neat. Not that WRXish sound that SR's make.
